How to play Lane Switch

Move left or right between three lanes, avoid every obstacle, and keep your run going as the pace increases.

Start with a plan

These notes cover the controls, rules, and decisions in this browser version.

Start the run and move the player one lane left or right with the on-screen controls, pointer, or arrow keys.
Read the approaching obstacle pattern early and choose a clear lane before it reaches the player.
Survive each wave to increase the score as the scrolling pace becomes faster.
A collision ends the run; restart immediately to challenge the locally saved best score.

Watch the far end of the road instead of the player so each lane change is planned rather than reactive.
Return toward the center lane when it is safe; the middle preserves two possible escape directions.
Use one deliberate move per obstacle gap and avoid rapid corrections that can carry the player into the next lane.
At high speed, choose the first clearly safe route instead of waiting for the theoretically shortest path.
