How to play Car Battle
These notes cover the controls, rules, and decisions in this browser version.
Play a round
- Play with two people on one device; the arena stays full-screen and rotates sideways automatically when the phone is held in portrait.
- Before the match, each team chooses a fast rally car with a high jump or a slower heavy truck that wins more head-to-head pushing contests.
- Red drives with A and D while Blue uses the left and right arrow keys, or both players can use their on-screen direction buttons. Double tap a direction to jump that way.
- Drive across changing desert, forest, city, arctic, lunar, and scrapyard platforms. Bright spring decks bounce vehicles and cannons launch them across gaps.
- A helmet collision loses the round. The scene and obstacle layout change for the next round, and the first team to five wins takes the match.
Strategy for this version
- Use small midair corrections to bring the wheels down first; over-rotating exposes the helmet beneath an upside-down car.
- Drop from a higher platform onto the rival car while keeping your own driver above the chassis and away from the landing point.
- Watch the map name and obstacle pattern during the countdown, then choose an open route before the cars begin moving.
- After a body bounce, make one deliberate steering correction instead of holding a turn and circling the helmet into the same hazard.
