How to play Magic Water Sort

Pour water into an empty bottle or onto the same top color, then keep sorting until every filled bottle holds one color.

Start with a plan

These notes cover the controls, rules, and decisions in this browser version.

Choose a bottle containing water, then choose the bottle where its top color should pour.
Water can enter an empty bottle or land on water of the same color, provided the destination still has space.
A pour moves as much of the matching top color as the destination can hold; use undo whenever a route closes too early.
Finish the level when every nonempty bottle contains four layers of one color, then continue through all 100 levels.

Use the two empty bottles as working space and avoid filling both until the newly completed bottle frees another opening.
Expose matching colors before combining them; joining a pair too early can bury the color needed to release a lower layer.
Complete one-color bottles when doing so also uncovers a useful color or empties the source bottle.
When stuck, undo to the last choice between two destinations or ask for a hint generated from a verified solution path.
