How to play Pyramid Solitaire

Remove exposed pairs that total 13. Kings are worth 13 and can be removed alone. Clear the pyramid before the stock runs out.

Select two exposed cards whose values total 13. Aces count as 1, jacks as 11, queens as 12, and kings remove themselves.
A pyramid card becomes exposed only after both cards overlapping it have been removed.
Use the stock and waste to find partners for exposed pyramid cards, advancing the stock when no current match helps.
Clear all 28 pyramid cards before the available stock passes end to win the deal.

Favor pairs that uncover a new card or free both cards covering the same lower card.
When two exposed cards need the same partner, remove the one blocking more of the pyramid first.
Remember stock cards that passed without a match; their position matters when the game allows another trip through the stock.
Remove exposed kings promptly unless leaving one temporarily helps preserve a more important waste-card pairing.
